Sichuan-style chili oil condiment made with Sichuan peppercorns, chili, fermented black bean paste, and aromatics. Non-GMO. Gluten-free (tamari-based). Umami-forward. No added MSG — glutamates are naturally present from fermented black bean paste.

'No added MSG' is accurate — umami is derived from naturally occurring glutamates in fermented black bean paste, not added monosodium glutamate. Sichuan peppercorn (Zanthoxylum bungeanum) is not a true pepper; its characteristic numbing sensation (málà) derives from hydroxy-alpha-sanshool, not capsaicin.
