USDA Organic certified. Non-GMO Project Verified. Brewed in Taiwan — origin stated. Ingredients: organic whole soybeans, water, sea salt, organic sugar (trace), wheat (trace). No artificial ingredients.
Wan Ja Shan is a family-owned Taiwanese producer founded in 1946. No third-party Fairtrade certification.
'Tamari' designation is consistent with the product's low-wheat formulation. Taiwan origin is accurately stated; no claims of Japanese geographic origin are made. The small amount of sugar in the ingredient list is disclosed.
