Wan Ja Shan is a family-owned Taiwanese producer founded in 1946. No third-party Fairtrade certification.
'Tamari' designation is consistent with the product's low-wheat formulation. Taiwan origin is accurately stated; no claims of Japanese geographic origin are made. The small amount of sugar in the ingredient list is disclosed.
