Pardina is a Spanish heirloom lentil cultivar. Montana-grown Pardinas share the botanical lineage but are adapted to dryland prairie conditions; they are not imported from Spain. 'Nutty flavour' is a documented sensory characteristic of the Pardina cultivar.
